Born and raised in Preston.
Much loved and missed son of Alison and Alex, beloved brother of Emma, Stuart, Kayleigh and Richard, devoted daddy of Iain and Declan, loving uncle of Toni. Also sadly missed Grandson, Nephew, Cousin, Great Cousin, and friend to many.
His death was sudden and tragic, no-one apart from Ian and God know the reasons why!!
Ian was my first born child who meant the world to me and all his family. He was a happy, go lucky, very popular lad who had loads of friends, always up for a laugh and liked to live life to the full. He was a devoted daddy to his 2 sons Iain & Declan who meant the world to him and he absolutely adored them. Life will never be the same without Ian and his cheeky smile!! But he will be forever loved and remembered by so many people and he will always live on through the two most important people who were his life, his 2 precious sons.

Ian i am so sorry i havnt been on for quite a while but ive had a lot to sort out in my head. It has taken me 4 years to the day to finally grasp the fact that apart from in my dreams i am never going to see you again until my time comes, and it still hurts so much!! I miss you more with each day that passes. You now have 2 new nieces Brooke and Maiaie who i know you would adore, they will grow up to know everything about their special Uncle Ian. Well Stump i cant believe 3 years has gone by. It seems like only yesterday we were out in the guild tav ravin away, us both constantly takin the piss out of each other. U used 2 wind me up soooo bad, what i wud give 2 av that bk. Each time i cum on this site and see ur face it seems as if ur still ere, but then i see these tributes and it breaks my heart. Ian, there are no no words possible to express just how much i love and miss you. I cannot believe its been 3 years since we lost you, seems like only yesterday and it hurts just as much now as it did then, that will never change. My heart is broken and will never mend until the day comes when i finally see you again in heaven, i just hope you are now happy and at peace. But until that day comes rest in peace sweetheart and keep watching over us all, especially your two special boys.
